Written by One of our most successful charity hosting events to date, King Solomon’s Cup Golf Tournament raised over $5,000 for Masonic Charities in Massachusetts.
Held on 8/5/16, King Solomon’s cup was an event hosted at Westminster Country Club in Westminster, MA. Sponsored by Aurora Lodge of Masons in Fitchburg, MA, the tournament was a great success. The tournament was filled with golfers young and old, from 15 to 83 years of age, with male and female participants throughout the 16 teams involved.
Equally so, there were many generous volunteers who came down and spent their Friday afternoon working with the members of the course and the lodge to coordinate and execute this awesome charity event. The proceeds from this event went to the Masonic Angel Fund in the city of Fitchburg, MA – and over $5,000 was donated in books, hats, learning devices, transportation and so on.
Curry Event Services provided the organizational aspects for business donations throughout the community as well as the hosting, DJing and MC services throughout the day, with the assistance of Aurora Lodge of Masons in Fitchburg.
